This is one of the best but most underestimated events of our year. It is held at the Sandringham Bowls Club. We have a social bowls competition (optional) followed by a superb dinner put on by the Bowls Club Members. They do a fantastic job and prepare a sumptuous dinner with amazing home made desserts. The eveniing only costs $35.00 for everything (except the drinks)

Thanks to Stan Bernhard, Ron Hunter and John Ragas for organising the bowls competition. Unfortunately, this year we didn’t have a winner as it was rained off but frankly, nobody minded as it was such a great evening.

Barbara Appel proved to be the outstanding bowls player of the evening and prizes were also awarded to Louise Pound and Geoff Carlson for their very promising performances.

This event is more a social evening with some bowls if you want. You don’t have to play bowls or even like it to have a grerat evening! It would be such a shame if this event dies. Please come next year if we hold it again. Click on photos to enlarge
